-
How long are your sessions?Individual sessions are 50 minutes but can be up to an hour. Sometimes sessions can be shorter, lasting 20-30 minutes.
-
What should I expect from my first session? The first session is a chance to get a sense of how I work. I’ll ask lots of questions about what brings you to therapy, I may ask about the history of the issue you want to work on, your past, your family, and what helps you currently cope. The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask me questions and gain a better understanding of how we could work together.
-
I have private insurance, can I still use your services?Yes I am approved by AXA, Aviva and Vitality Health. The sessions will be directly billed to the insurance provider; any additional costs will need to be covered by the client directly.
-
Where can I get urgent help/support?Call 999 or go to your local A&E if someone’s life is at risk – for example if they have seriously injured themselves or taken an overdose. Or if you feel you cannot keep yourself or someone else safe.
